Keith Anderson

Keith is the third generation of Anderson practitioners, and is currently available to be of counsel to our attorneys.  He previously practiced estate planning, probate, elder law, corporate law, real estate, and banking. He joined the firm in 1984.

 

Keith has served as legal counsel and on the board of several non-profit organizations, including Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation, Itasca County Habitat for Humanity, Itasca County Family YMCA, Camp Mishawaka, and ISD 318 Endowment Fund.

 

Keith was born in Grand Rapids, grew up in the Grand Rapids area, and raised his family in Grand Rapids.  He and his wife enjoy lake living, hunting, fishing, and spending time with their children and grandchildren.

Jerry Ophoven

Jerry practices estate planning, elder law, corporate law, real estate, and banking. He joined the firm in 1993 and became a partner in 1996. Before joining the firm, Jerry served as a law enforcement officer in suburban Minneapolis for ten years where he was assigned to patrol and investigations. He was the recipient of several distinguished service awards, including a lifesaving award and officer of the year, and he was publicly recognized for his investigative work in several high profile cases. He is passionate about helping clients achieve their estate planning goals.

Jerry has served as legal counsel and on the board of several non-profit organizations, including Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation, Itasca County Habitat for Humanity, Itasca Orchestra and Strings Program, and New Beginnings Pregnancy Care Center. He was a member of Kiwanis for nearly twenty years. He is also an adjunct professor at Itasca Community College.

Jerry was born in Hopkins, grew up in the Minneapolis area, and moved to Grand Rapids to raise his family in 1992. He and his wife enjoy lake living, fishing, and spending time with their four adult children.

Joe Stauffer

Joe practices estate planning, probate, elder law, corporate law, real estate, and banking. He joined the firm in 2002. Before joining the firm, Joe worked for the U.S.G.S. and Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.

Joe has served as legal counsel and on the board of several non-profit organizations, including Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation, North Homes Children and Family Services, and Itasca County Family YMCA. He was also an adjunct professor at Itasca Community College for five years.

Joe was born in Iowa City, grew up in the Iowa City area, and moved to Grand Rapids to raise his family in 2002. He and his wife enjoy the outdoors, fishing, and spending time with their children.

Joe Stauffer

Jenna Jahn

 

Jenna practices estate planning, probate, trust administration, family law, real estate, business law, and civil litigation.  She joined the firm in 2019 and became a partner in 2021.  Before joining the firm, Jenna worked for the Ninth Judicial District as a Judicial Law Clerk.  Jenna earned her Juris Doctor at William Mitchell College of Law.  Prior to attending law school, Jenna worked for the Minnesota Department of Revenue as a Sales and Use Tax Auditor.  She also served twelve years in the Minnesota Army National Guard as an Intelligence Officer and Acquisitions Officer, serving six years on Active Duty and including two deployments to the Middle East.  Jenna is passionate about personal representation and helping clients resolve their legal needs.

 

Jenna volunteers through Legal Aid Services of Northern Minnesota- Private Attorney Involvement Program, serves on the Itasca Community College Foundation Board, and is the Itasca County Law Library Coordinator

 

Jenna was born in Grand Rapids, grew up in the Twin Cities, and returned to Grand Rapids in 2016.  She enjoys all that Northern Minnesota has to offer, and particularly enjoys spending time ice fishing with her husband and daughter.
